I have had a very full and very varied life. My career started in the field of psychiatry and then, as a complete change, in catering. Moving to Kent I was very fortunate to become the Town Seargent of Dover which involved maintaining the town's Civic Regalia, the Ceremonial Oar of the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports and officiating at the civic ceremonies. After retiring I took on the challenge of refurbishing some derelict properties whilst also continuing to assist friends by being their company secretary for some seafront buildings which were going under refurbishment. I am very pleased to look back on many satisfying years and can now concentrate on my local social scene. I maintain a gathering for St Georges Day, for Trafalgar Day and our town's Charter Day.
Cooking and entertaining, Gardening, General socializing. A certain amount of travel, mainly cruises Architecture National Trust / English Heritage.
