The initial membership fee with be taken up completion of the application for membership. Renew fees must be provided every 12 months from the date of application to join. If payment is not received 14 days after the renewal date the knight will be struck from the membership roll.

 

4. Minimum Age Requirement
Knights must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.

 

5. Membership Roll
The information provided by knights with their application will be stored on a private database. The following information will be published on the “Roll of Knights” on the web site: Surname, Christian name(s), Title(s), Primary Residence (Country, County/Province, Town).

 

6. Membership Standards
KRO 1660 Limited as Knights of the Royal Oak require the knights to behave in a manner that would be expected of someone who is a role model. Knights who do not meet this standard will be assessed by the Grand Master. If it is proved the standard has not been met then the knight will be removed from the membership. The accused knight will have 14 days in which to respond to the complaint. The details of the complainant will not be disclosed. A decision will be provided to the knight within 14 days after the response period has lapsed (a maximum of 28 days from receipt of complaint). The membership fee will not be refunded.

 

7. Regalia will be sent by post (signed for).
If an item does not arrive KRO 1660 Limited as Knights of the Royal Oak will replace the lost item. If an item is not fit for purpose, the knight must return the item and KRO 1660 Limited as Knights of the Royal Oak will replace the item.

 

8. Charitable donations
If charitable donations are made to KRO 1660 Limited as Knights of the Royal Oak they will be passed to on a registered charity less any money transmission charges. KRO 1660 Limited as Knights of the Royal Oak will not financially benefit from any chartable donation.

 

9. Cancel your Membership
If you wish to cancel your membership this must be undertaken in writing (by post or email). No refund of membership fees will be made but the collection of the annual subscription will cease.
